I first started training with Karine a few months before going on a week-long trekking trip in Nepal. I wanted to improve my fitness and, thanks to her guidance and in-depth understanding of my weaknesses, I improved my cardio and strength for the trip. I continued training for years with Karine because she offers such a welcoming environment and she’s extremely empowering as a coach. We included Thai boxing in our sessions as well as general conditioning sessions, occasionally yoga and meditation sessions, and a few nutrition classes. Throughout the week, I always loved the flexibility of texting Karine a few minutes before sessions to clarify which type of workout I wanted to do and having her feedback on what we should focus on to have balance. Her coaching is clear, informed, fun, and full of expertise in every type of workout. I made progress in ways I couldn’t imagine. For me, she became a huge source of balance not just as a personal trainer but also a kind person who has taught me to cope with stress in all of the healthiest ways.
